Performance Metal was formed to meet the needs of the automotive performance industry. A friend bought some used transmissions that had a little bit of water in them. They had some slight rust, but no pitting. We needed a way to get the rust out of the teeth of the gears. While researching, we found some companies doing Isotropic Finishing. The Isotropic Finishing process would take care of the rust, but we also learned that it would do much more. It reduces friction, and in turn, frees up precious horsepower. It also increases durability due to the lower operating temperatures.

We work as hard as we can to return your parts in a timely manner. Typically we only have them a a day or two before we ship them back. Let us know if you have a deadline, we can probably meet it.
